We are seeking a Level 2 Head Coach to manage our WNIHL 2 and Development teams.
Position Title: Leeds Roses Women’s Ice Hockey Club Head Coach
Work Schedule: 11-month position (mid-August to first week of July); Thursday evening and weekend work (games) is required.
Example of Duties (examples listed is not an all-inclusive list):
This position involves verbal and written correspondence with current players, junior parents, committee and coaching staff. The successful candidate will:
• Work with the current coaching staff
• Deliver skills and training sessions to aspiring players, ages 11 and up
• Devise a game strategy
• Plan and supervise practices/games/tournaments
• Adhere to and ensure compliance with Leeds Roses IHC Code of Conduct
• Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum requirements:
• 1-3 years of coaching experience, preference to specifically coaching female hockey. The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
• Valid Level 2 Coach
• Valid driver's licence needed
• First Aid required
