Do I need to have experience to join?
We pride ourselves on being ultra inclusive and do welcome new players. We would suggest that you have a basic skating ability for our Thorns Team, to at least the equivalent of Skate UK Level 5. We're not able to offer 1-to-1 coaching during training. We do not currently have a Development Team. Please email us for information on a recommended adult hockey program.
Can I rent kit?
Unfortunately, we are unable to lend out any kit at present. We do require that all players are wearing full ice hockey kit to participate in training.
Are there any age restrictions?
At the moment, we are only able to allow over 14's to join
Will I need Leeds Roses IHC jerseys to train?
Not for training. You will need Leeds Roses IHC jerseys to play games, however.
Why can't I return merch?
We're not able to return or refund merchandise purchases, as orders are custom placed. If an item arrives damaged or defected, we will of course see that it is replaced.
Do I need to buy a ticket to watch your games?
Thorns games are currently free to attend which are played out of Bradford Ice Arena.
Roses games which h are played out of Planet Ice Leeds are ticket events.
How to buy tickets (doors open 30 minutes before the game)
On the day: Available at the main desk at Planet Ice (cash or card)
Online: Via the Planet Ice events website (12% booking fee applies)

Under 6 - FREE
Family of 4 - £8
